...because, really, how are we 7 days from Christmas and only 14 days from NEXT YEAR?!?!
Sometimes things happen and you're not sure how you got there.
For me, it's "how did I get to the end of 2025 so fast?"
but also, "how did I wind up publishing a non-magic romantasy that encompasses all my chilldhood favorite tropes?"
I don't really have the answer. The time was right. It happened. It all came together.
Looking back, writing and publishing that first volume was a whirlwind.
The ideas sparked fast, came with full inspiration, and went down on paper before I had time to reconsider what I was doing.
The publishing just felt right. It was time, and I listened to that little voice in the back of my head.
Did it become a bestseller? Not yet. But I have hopes.
Did it skyrocket my income? No, but again... hopes.
What this book DID do was provide a boost of confidence I didn't know I had in myself. It reminded me I have a niche and I love that niche.
Aaaaaand it provided a safe space for my dreamers to escape. (AKA get your copy now!)
My year has been full of ATOBAB, and I wouldn't change that for the world. Next year? I guess we'll talk about that when New Year's hits π
Still astonished it's this close to Christmas...
