truly surreal

I feel like being an author is a series of "am I doing this right?" and then these moments of "is this a dream?" ↓ Writing doesn't usually come with instant gratification. Being an author is hard, because why aren't people out there offering to market us for free? 😂 But when the delayed gratification comes, it leaves said authors on an ethereal high for days.
