Writing doesn't usually come with instant gratification. Being an author is hard, because why aren't people out there offering to market us for free? ๐
But when the delayed gratification comes, it leaves said authors on an ethereal high for days.
I don't think reality has actually set in yet for me on this one. It probably won't until I'm there, nervous and a smidge terrified, and talking to people I've never met before.
But, Reader, I'm headed to my first author fair. NEXT WEEK!!!
(peep the graphic they made for me!)
Honestly, we love when the amazing organizers do our social media graphics for us. ***claps in outsourcing***
So, yes, I will be there all afternoon and yes, if you purchase a book and bring it I will sign it for you. (I will have Vol. I of ATOBAB available for purchase at the fair.)
If you pre-order Vol. II you have a 30/70 chance of it getting to you from Prime before this event... Because it launches 2 days before.
There are moments in life that make me feel like "oh, yeah, I'm an actual author" and this is one of them. The haze of the author dream is swirling like fog around my life right now.
Let's hope when it clears, I'm as excited as right now.
Come see me in person, let's chat!
