Genuine question, because I'm noticing a pattern.

How obsessively you track packages says a lot about what kind of writer you are.
For real, this is my new theory. Hear me out!
Option 1: You—like any normal human being who doesn't trust the US delivery system—track your package obsessively from purchase to arrival. You want to know exactly where it is AT ALL TIMES
- You're probably a planner, timeline tracker, and fierce editor. Your story probably goes through 5-7 drafts before you show it to anyone, and editing? It's going to take you a year, a developmental editor, a line editor, a proofreader, your sanity... and you're probably still not satisfied.
Option 2: You purchase. You wait for it to ship. THEN you look up where your package is twice a day.
- Oh, sweetie, you definitely start your story based off vibes, an aesthetic, or a singular day-dreamed scene. It's only after you're halfway through that you realize yo uneed this to make sense and you're not sure it does. (Trust, it totally makes sense.) Your editing can be obsessive, but there also comes a time when you realize: I think it's good enough.
[This one is me, btw.]
Option 3: You trust the US postal system/amazon/UPS/FedEx waaaaaaaay too easily and you never even think to track your package. It will arrive when it arrives.
- Okay, you definitely started with a misty haze of an idea, changed twice in the middle, and are now halfway through a sci-fi fantasy romance thriller mystery cookbook with no ending in sight. Because the ending doesn't matter, the journey and thrill do. As for editing... what's that? Are you going to need it?
So... how accurate am I? I'll let you decide.
No matter what kind of writer you are, you're probably also a reader and A Tale of Blood and Blossoms, Vol. I is un-put-down-able and waiting for you to grab your copy:
Remember, it's not how you write, it's what you write. Whatever your system is, as long as it works for you... keep going!
This is me going to chase a vibey idea~
