I did not take kindly to it.
"That's waaaaay too many emails," they said. They said other things too.
But what they don't understand is that I'm not looking for everyone to sign up for these emails. I'm looking for my people. The ones who get it. Who love these emails and want to spend ALL the time with this vibe.

I used to hate "having" to do an author email list until I realized it doesn't mean I have to act like something I'm not. The more I act like me, the more precise my audience is.
And I think you're pretty cool, too π
The stigma of having to be in performance mode is one I'm shucking on multiple levels. I've realized I don't need to perform. Good marketing repels people who aren't your kind of people. I can be me unashamedly.
And so can you! Step out of performance and into who you really are. It may take a minute to see the changes but just you wait. Your life is about to get way more fun.
