It was the end of last week. I was tired. I wrote the final email for the work week and sent it...
Only to realize I had misspelled "appearances" in the subject line.
How utterly embarrassing!
I'm a writer. I'm supposed to have my spelling all together. I'm supposed to be better than that!
The point is, I failed. And I hate failing.
This is a similar feeling to the one most writers get when they re-read their story and realize they have plotholes.
Been there. Done that.
BUT DO NOT BE DISMAYED! For it is in our imperfections that beauty is created.
(the poet juices are flowing today)
I don't fear plotholes anymore. I sometimes purposely don't fill them in.
Hot take: unfilled plotholes create room for fan theories, therefore propagating more dedicated fans because you've attracted the fangirl type.
Seriously, read this beautiful masterpiece...
...and find all the plotholes. Tell me if it matters when you're done. Tell me if you hate that I didn't tell you every specific detail of things I've eluded to.
I don't think you will.
*skips off to work on her next masterpiece*
